Casa Amella:
Between the kitchen and the field
When Dani founded Casa Amella in his aunt and uncle’s garage back in 2002, in Castellterçol, he wanted to share with more people the privilege he had access to: a healthy kitchen based on local products grown with care and respect for the Earth.
While the days in nature with grandfather Isidre, a farmer, and grandfather Francisco, an animal lover who loves to go hunting without firing a single shot, taught him where the ingredients of his dish came from and the importance of taking care the environment.
Thanks to these experiences, Casa Amella brings together the best of two worlds:
A homemade and healthy vegetable cuisine without additives
In our kitchen we only use steam cooking, in this way we manage to better preserve all its wonderful properties, a unique flavor and an incomparable texture. We cook food with the same care that you would prepare it.
Respect for the land and the people who work it
Like Pau, who picks his vegetables by employing young people at risk of social exclusion in Manresa. Or Manuel, whose family has worked the same land for generations where he grows his organic vegetables.
Do you want to know our secret?
Our only secret is to prepare our food as it has always been done: harvesting at the optimal time, cooking for the right time and using organic vegetables without pesticides.
We collect
Vegetables, legumes, cereals and organic and seasonal fruits at their ripening point, in the fields of local producers (the furthest is in León).
We cook
Fresh steamed vegetables in our green factory in Artés, a vegan, allergen-free and ecological workshop. Then we sterilize them to maintain their properties without preservatives or other additives.
We deliver
Our products to your home in sustainable packaging: 90% are made of glass, a reusable and 100% recyclable material. The rest, in compostable and 100% recyclable materials. We continue to investigate to improve our packaging and make it even more respectful of the planet.

Certified workshop as 100% organic, vegan and allergen-free.
CCPAE
Our workshop is certified by the CCPAE (Catalan Council for Ecological Agricultural Production) which certifies that our products have been produced following the standards of organic farming.
EU ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
It is a seal of the European Union that certifies that strict quality and food safety conditions for organic production are met.
BPA FREE
All our products are free of Bisphenol A, a chemical component widely used in the manufacture of plastics that can alter the endocrine system.
IFS
We are implementing the international food safety and quality certificate, specifically focused on the food industry.
CCPAE
Our workshop is certified by the CCPAE (Catalan Council for Ecological Agricultural Production) which certifies that our products have been produced following the standards of organic farming.

For me, without a doubt, pumpkin soup is my weakness. Being part of the entire production process, I know that I couldn’t make it better at home. The product that fascinates my daughters is the “pardina” lentil. And the lemonade, without further explanation, is amazing!
