It is the first organic Romesco sauce made in Catalonia. We make it in-house using only fresh seasonal vegetables. When you try it, you will not be able to stop eating it. Go and get your scallions while we cook the sauce!
The ingredients used to prepare it are 100% organic: fresh roasted tomatoes from the Baix Llobregat; Arbequina extra virgin olive oil; Marcona almonds from Reus; dark hazelnuts from Reus; roasted garlic; organic white wine vinegar from the Penedès region (with no sulphites); black pepper; paprika and salt. Nothing more than that. Peanuts and xanthan gum have no place in an authentic Romesco sauce.
We steam cook everything previously to guarantee its natural taste and then we simmer it slowly and blend it until we get the perfect sauce with the ideal texture to stick to the scallions.
Apart from being delicious, it is also suitable for people with food intolerances. It is has no gluten, lactose or eggs. It is low in salt and contains no concentrates, colourings or preservatives.
