Joan is friend and partner who product the extra category olives which are harvested from late August to February in the village of Batea (Tarragona), surrounded by the perfect meteorological conditions for growing olives. Every metre of their property exudes their passion for the countryside, for nature and for work which has been well done.

Gallecs is a agro-forestry territory of 774 ha 15 km north of Barcelona, in the Vallès Oriental region with the objective of achieving sustainable rural development through organic farming with a model of agricultural management that respects the environment, that favors the biodiversity, the protection and the improvement of the quality of the ground; the recovery of the traditional and local varieties, guaranteeing the quality of the food and the commerce of proximity.
